Wexford has become more tolerant over the years and has developed into a major authority on human character.

Hill is sickly, sexually dysfunctional and there are details that mention an unhappy and mentally stressful childhood and youth.

He is single, almost two metres tall, strong as a bull, has closely set eyes and has the habit of picking between his teeth with a paper knife.
