Sayers. Witty and erudite, he solves crime with the help of logic, his butler, Bunter, and his friend (later brother-in-law) Inspector Charles Parker.

Endeavour Morse

Several television productions have been based on Colin Dexter’s Morse books. He is sometimes greatly helped by another former police officer, Terry Quinn.
